Women's Football Scrapbook

Celebrating national girls and women in sports day we thought we would showcase this vinyl scrapbook containing numerous photographs and newspaper clippings relating to women’s football in Scotland and the career of Jane Legget. In 1997 Legget was presented with an award when she retired from international football. At that time, Legget was Scotland’s most capped female player with 46 caps. Our ‘History Makers’ Exhibition celebrates 50 years of Scottish Women’s Football and highlights players such as Elsie Cook, Margaret McAulay Rae, Rose Reilly, and Erin Cuthbertson. #scottishfootballmuseum
